Thanks for the chuckle, Grant. I get it. I found a used copy of my book on a shelf recently and though I had thought such a moment might bum me out, instead I felt much as you described: “this was the first copy I’d ever observed in the wild.” Your writing is hilarious and engaging, and “The Ninth Step” is going on my “to-read” list.
