I love books. For me there is a Christmas morning excitement to the discovery of a new one. And I love meeting the authors of books I love. But there are an awful lot of people conducting great interviews with authors. I won't presume to try and duplicate their efforts. What I'd like to do in this column is ask authors one key question and let them interpret and answer it any way they want.
How did you know you made it?
I think this will provide readers with some really interesting inside peeks at the life and times of a working writer, statements and thoughts that don't necessarily come up in an interview.
