Sara Backer on readers helping writers
In a recent post on her blog, Sara Backer–who has appeared here before in a Made It Moment–reflects on how readers can help writers. It’s not a question usually asked–and I have to admit I never really thought about it besides, “Well, if I ever have a book for you to buy, please buy it! Please. Please?!” But Sara has a lot to say and I hope you’ll find it interesting. Maybe even direct it to an author or two whom you really like.
Jenny, thank you so much for calling attention to my blog post. I’ve heard from a handful of readers who had no idea how much they could do online to help a writer whose book(s) they like that didn’t cost them anything and only took a minute or two. And, anyway, who doesn’t want to hear about a good book? The more we can spread the word, the better for writers and readers alike!

Thanks for letting your thoughts be a part of things here, Sara! I agree–this is stuff most people (myself included) may simply not realize…but SO important
